Last Updated on August 5, 2021

The Mighty Ducks are back, but this ain't your father's Mighty Ducks. Over the years, the scrappy underdog team has grown into an ultra-competitive powerhouse team and former coach Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez) now hates hockey and everything it stands for. How do ya like them apples?

Disney has released a new trailer for The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, a ten-episode series that gives the classic sports movie the Cobra Kai treatment. Check it out above! In addition to Emilio Estevez, the series also stars Lauren Graham as Alex, mother to Evan Morrow (Brady Noon), a young hockey player who is cut from the now cutthroat Mighty Ducks team, as well as up-and-coming young actors Maxwell Simkins, Swayam Bhatia, Luke Islam, Kiefer O’Reilly, Taegen Burns, Bella Higginbotham, and DJ Watts.

The official synopsis for The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers:

In the 10-episode season set in present day Minnesota, the Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan Morrow (Brady Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom, Alex (Lauren Graham), set out to build their own team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of youth sports today. With the help of Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez), they rediscover the joys of playing just for love of the game.

The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers will debut on Disney+ on March 26, 2021.
