Well ladies and gentlemen, tonight is the night! Tonight the highly anticipated web series “Mortal Kombat: Legacy” kicks off and here I am to help get you all pumped! Hell you’re probably already pumped but if not today’s update is definitely guranteed to change that.

Thanks to an outcry from fans “Legacy” director Kevin Tancharoen has decided to treat us all to a brand new still from the web-series. What does this still offer? Well scope out Tancharoen’s ‘tweet’ to get an idea:

Hmm I wonder who it could be. That’s right folks… If you scroll on directly below you’ll be treated to a still from the series that offers up none other than ‘Scorpion!’ The shot actually features good ol’ Scorp getting ready to don the classic get-up once again. Almost gives you goosebumps doesn’t it?

Written by Kevin Tancharoen , Aaron Helbing and Todd Helbing, “Mortal Kombat: Legacy” is an anthology of nine live action shorts, and brings to life the motivation behind each character’s participation in the Mortal Kombat tournament. Each episode will provide never-before-revealed insights into characters featured in the upcoming videogame as well as the game’s universe.

Sporting a cast that includes Michael Jai White, Jeri Ryan (below), Shane Warren Jones, Kevan Ohtsji, Matt Mullins, Ryan Robbins, Jolene Tran, Sam Tjhia, Beatrice Ilq, Darren Shahlavi and Peter Shinkoda, “Mortal Kombat: Legacy” is geared up to kick off later today over at Machinima!
