The new trailer for Branded looks just as bizarre as the first one

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Last month we brought you the first trailer for the bizarre dystopian thriller BRANDED. Now we have a second trailer that premiered at Comic Con and it is just as weird as the first. Although I do have to say this one is cut more like a theatrical release rather than the cheaper look of the first one.

Plot: BRANDED is a dark and mind-bending sci-fi thriller into a surreal, dystopian society where mega corporations have unleashed a monstrous global conspiracy to get inside our minds and keep the population disillusioned, dependent and passive. One man’s quest to unlock the truth behind the conspiracy will lead to an epic battle with the hidden forces that really control our world.

The use of barcode tags in the trailer and poster is an interesting marketing technique that definitely makes this movie a little more interesting. I like the interactive approach they are bringing to the film. As for how good the movie actually is, we will have to watch it to find that out.

BRANDED hits theaters on September 7th.
