The Purge: Anarchy TV Spot shows us what happens when you try to be a hero

I was actually pretty happy to hear that a sequel to THE PURGE was being done. I think it’s a pretty interesting concept, and given that the first was more of a “home invasion” flick, there must be plenty of other stories to tell in the Purge-iverse. Enter Frank Grillo and what happens when you try to do something good the one day of the year you’re allowed to be bad in THE PURGE: ANARCHY.

As you can see, the scope has been expanded upon in the sequel, however we’ve lost any A-list stars (the give and take as far as the budget’s concerned, I imagine). I’m totally down with this sequel, although considering how fast it’s been pumped out, I really hope they don’t overdo it like most horror franchises that had a strong start.
