The Shape of Water Scores 7 Golden Globes Nominations

It was just earlier today that we shared the news with you guys that writer-director Jordan Peele's horror-thriller GET OUT had scored Golden Globe nominations for Best Picture and Best Actor.

Now we have news that writer-director Guillermo del Toro's THE SHAPE OF WATER scored a stunning 7 nominations, including nods for del Toro as director and co-screenwriter.

Now, before you say it, I know, I know, why have two separate lists of Golden Globes nominations? Well, it's because everyone else out there is putting up one blanket story on the awards and we felt it was only right to make sure each genre film got its own love. After all, it's something to celebrate when ONE genre movie gets awards-love. When TWO films do in the same year? Good f*cking times!

You can check out the full list of nominations HERE.
