Recently on Twitter, James Gunn – writer-director of the upcoming The Suicide Squad – revealed that he's finished production on the massive superhero flick earlier than expect (including visual effects, with apparently no need for any pick-ups or reshoots). However, he still plans on holding off its release, so that it can be seen in theater with large audiences.

Meanwhile, The Suicide Squad – starring Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, John Cena, and Viola Davis – is still set to blow away into theaters August 6th!
