So what did you all think of “The Walking Dead’s” midseason finale last night? Pretty gnarly shite right?

Well – good, bad or indifferent – nothing changes the fact that we now have to wait until February for the second half of season 4 to continue. In specific, AMC has tagged February 9th as the date of return. There’s a lot of speculation as to how things will shape up moving forward, especially after last night’s climactic melee, but thanks to AMC, a new promo for the midseason return offers a few hints. Cop a peek below!

Before you check out the video, consider what star Andrew Lincoln had to say about the remaining 8 episodes of season 4:

“(they’re) the boldest, bravest and most exciting this show has ever attempted.”

Reinforcing the sentiment is executive producer-writer Robert Kirkman, who agreed the rest of season 4 is “very intense.”

Sounds pretty badass. And if these dudes aren’t blowing smoke, two months ain’t so bad a wait. What do you think?

Episode 4.9 of “TWD” airs February 9th.
