The world goes silent in chilling trailer for John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

After the first teaser for A QUIET PLACE was released, the horror/thriller immediately found a place among my most anticipated films of the year. What we've seen so far has teased something full of nail-biting suspense where every sound, no matter how slight, could have deadly repercussions. A QUIET PLACE stars John Krasinski and Emily Blunt as a husband and wife desperately attempting to keep their family safe from a mysterious threat. Just what the threat is isn't made clear, but the latest trailer for A QUIET PLACE finds Blunt's character watching multiple news broadcasts which showcases global devastation and an invasion of some sort. It seems that whatever that threat is, they're extremely sensitive to sound, leading the family to go to great lengths to avoid all noise.

A QUIET PLACE, which was also directed by John Krasinski, will debut at the South by Southwest Film Festival on March 9, 2018, before hitting theaters on April 6, 2018.
