Angelina jolie stars in Taylor Sheridan's those who wish me dead, set for an HBO Max release May 14th

Those Who Wish Me Dead, the Taylor Sheridan thriller starring Angelina Jolie, has finally been given a release date. According to THR, the Warner Bros film will debut simultaneously in theatres and on HBO Max May 14th. The movie, which is based on the novel by Michael Koryta, is about a teen hiding-out in the Montana wilderness from a team of killers. Jolie plays a survival expert tasked with protecting him.

This marks Sheridan’s first film as a director since Wind River, but anyone who's followed his career will know he’s been staying busy, penning the screenplay for the upcoming Tom Clancy adaptation Without Remorse, in addition to writing every single episode of The Paramount Network’s excellent Yellowstone.

This sounds like a nice return to form for Jolie, who hasn’t really done an all out action flick since Salt, which was over a decade ago. Nicholas Hoult, Tyler Perry, and Jon Berthal co-star in what I fully expect will be one bad-ass flick.
