The following news has IMDb as a source, so obviously it should be taken with a grain of salt. That said, this casting scoop doesn’t bring with it any humongous names, which ups its chances of being legit.

According to the site, Paul Rae (TRUE GRIT), Keram Malicki-Sánchez (PUNISHER: WAR ZONE>; pictured) and Ritchie Montgomery are all lining up to be butchered in THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 3D, which is currently in pre-production. John Luessenhop is directing from a screenplay written by Stephen Susco and Kirsten Elms.

The three would join the previously announced Alexandra Daddario, Scott Eastwood, Tania Raymonde, Bill Moseley, Gunnar Hansen and Tobe Hooper in the flick, which is currently slated to come out on OCTOBER 5, 2012.
