Tiger chases Evigan

I love hearing about brand new horror flicks. Especially original ones. So the news today coming in from Variety has put a smile on my face.

Remember that Robin Williams’ flick JUMANJI? Remember that badass lion that wanted to kick ass left and right? Well imagine an animal like that inside your house, stalking you?

That’s the first impression I’m getting from Sobini Films’ BURNING BRIGHT. The flick is about a 20-year-old and her autistic little brother who are trapped in a house with a ravenous tiger during a hurricane.

They even threw in a hurricane for good measure! Hot damn! That’s a tight situation. The gorgeous Briana Evigan (below) will be starring as said 20 year old.

Production on the thriller starts next month in Florida. Carlos Brooks is set to direct with a script from Christine Coyle Johnson and Julie Prendiville Roux. Mark Amin, David Higgins (HARD CANDY), and Cami Winikoff will produce.

Regardless of the potential… how come I’m thinking a PG-13 flick with a CGIed tiger?
