Ah, yes, another clip from Marvel’s THE AVENGERS. I know that some of you are starting to get a little shell-shocked with the bombardment of promotions, but…well, that’s just how the cookie crumbles with a big-budget gamble like this. That being said, I don’t think this clip will spoil anything for anyone, so it’s a pretty safe watch for those who want to stay “fresh” for the film.

Also, we have a short featurette from Marvel UK (hence the AVENGERS ASSEMBLE tagline), which doesn’t reveal anything by the way of new footage, but is a nice little bookend piece of promotion. It won’t change your life, though. It does, however, feature Alan Silvestri’s score for the movie (which you can sample here), which sounds perfectlly in line for a superhero pic of this magnitude. I think they hired the right man for the job.
THE AVENGERS opens on May 4, 2012.
