Trailer: Blumhouse & Hulu’s latest Into the Dark film set on April Fools Day

I love the concept of the Hulu / Blumhouse series Into the Dark. For a full year, a new Blumhouse-produced feature film is going to be released through the Hulu streaming service, and each film in this series is somehow related to a notable date in the month of its release. The series began in October, so of course the first movie was set on Halloween. Since then we've gotten Into the Dark movies that were based around Thanksgiving, Christmas, the New Year, Valentine's Day, and the Ides of March. Next up is April Fools' Day, which is being covered by director Adam Mason's I'M JUST F*CKING WITH YOU.

Scripted by Gregg Zehenter and Scott Barkan, this one stars Keir O'Donnell, Hayes MacArthur, and Jessica McNamee in the story of

a man and his sister on the way to a family wedding, who endure a night of increasingly frightening practical jokes during a one-night stay at a secluded motel.

Chino Moreno of Deftones has composed the score for the film.

Previous reports claimed that, unlike previous Into the Dark films, I'M JUST F*CKING WITH YOU wouldn't be available for viewing on the date it's set on. It was said that it wouldn't be reaching the streaming service until April 5th… but we were April fools for believing that one, because I'M JUST F*CKING WITH YOU actually is going to be released on April 1st.

In anticipation of the film's appropriate release date, a trailer has arrived online to give a preview of the pranks it has in store for us.

I'm guaranteed to watch every movie in the Into the Dark series regardless, but I'M JUST F*CKING WITH YOU looks like it's going to be an especially fun one.
