Trailer: Clive Barker’s Books of Blood is coming to Hulu in October

Just two weeks ago, Hulu released a teaser trailer for the upcoming Clive Barker-inspired film BOOKS OF BLOOD, which is set to reach the streaming service on October 7th. Now a full trailer for the feature film has arrived online and can be seen above.

Directed by Brannon Braga, who also wrote the segments with Adam Simon, BOOKS OF BLOOD will take viewers on

a journey into uncharted and forbidden territory through three tales tangled in space and time.

Anna Friel, Britt Robertson, Rafi Gavron, Yul Vasquez, Andy McQueen, Freda Foh Shen, and Nicholas Campbell star.

BOOKS OF BLOOD looks like it will be an interesting film to check out. It's not clear how much of it is actually connected to the stories Barker told in his Books of Blood short story collections, I have seen some Barker fans expressing confusion over the imagery seen in this trailer, but the author is credited as an executive producer.

Braga and Simon also served as executive producers alongside Seth MacFarlane, Erica Huggins, Alana Kleiman, Brian Witten, Jeff Kwatinetz, and Josh Barry. Mark Miller co-executive produced, with Joe Micucci, Jason Clark, and Michael Mahoney producing.

Stories from Barker's Books of Blood previously served as the basis for RAWHEAD REX, CANDYMAN, LORD OF ILLUSIONS, MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN, 2008's BOOK OF BLOOD, DREAD, an episode of Tales from the Darkside, and a segment of the anthology film QUICKSILVER HIGHWAY.
