Fantasia Fest is just about to get underway in Montreal, so it’s cool to finally start learning about some of the festival’s films that have flown under our radar. One such picture is VICTIMS, directed by David Bryant. Utilizing the found-footage technique, but putting a semi-new spin on it, the flick is a dramatic hostage thriller that looks like a pretty intense ride. We’ve got the trailer for you, which you can check out below.

The synopsis for VICTIMS:
As the camera rolls the van doors burst open. A man is bundled into the vehicle by balaclava clad kidnappers and handcuffed to the floor. As they drive, the man is questioned about his past and accused of a crime he maintains he did not commit…

As the drama unfolds, documented by the kidnappers, truth is revealed and the lines blur between the hijackers and their hostage. What are the kidnappers motives, where are they taking him and who is the victim?
