I had forgotten all about “Death Valley” since last writing about it, which was almost a year ago. A scripted series from MTV, the show is being described as “Cops” meets SHAUN OF THE DEAD, depicting a branch of the LAPD called the “Undead Task Force” (UTF) and their battles with various supernatural elements, like zombies, werewolves, and vampires. There are also certainly hints of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” in the preview, which doesn’t go light on the blood, guts and ghouls.

The series premieres on AUGUST 29th at 10:30 p.m. It sports a cast that includes “Lost” star Tania Raymonde and THE HANGOVER’s Bryan Callen. I must say, it looks a damn sight more appealing than “Teen Wolf”. What do you think? Watch it HERE, then come back and weigh in.
