Back in May, it was revealed that American World Pictures (weird name for a company, methinks) had snatched up the rights to the Russian sci-fi thriller SPORES at the Cannes Film Festival. Based on the trailer below, the flick sports some crazy monster action and lots of blood, so count us in.

The synopsis: SPORES revolves around a remote pharmaceutical lab where an infected test subject violently murders research scientists working on the vaccine for a lethal spore-born virus; those infected transform into psychotic killing machines.

The plan is seemingly to release SPORES on NOVEMBER 11th, but we’re not sure what the forum will be. We’ll keep an eye on that and let you know. For now, watch the juicy teaser below.
