The first trailer for THE GREATEST SHOWMAN has arrived! Starring Hugh Jackman as the legendary P.T. Barnum, the film is a musical take on the "greatest showman's" life and times. Directed by first-timer Michael Gracey, the film also stars Zac Efron, Michelle Williams, Rebecca Ferguson, and Zendaya.

I seem to remember a longer version of this trailer from CinemaCon earlier this year, but this one is no less effective and knows what it's selling; a rousing, emotional and heartfelt musical tale…just in time for Christmas. The cast is terrific, it looks beautiful and there's a bearded lady singing. I mean, what more do you people want?? Seriously, though, this has all the makings of a seasonal crowd-pleaser and Hugh Jackman is simply a great presence in anything he does, even if it doesn't involve slicing off body parts with adamantium claws.
