The Walking Dead

Between the 10th season of The Walking Dead and the 6th season of Fear the Walking Dead, a brand new Walking Dead series will be making its debut on AMC. This show doesn't have a title yet, but we know it's going to start airing in the spring of 2020

This series will center on

two young female protagonists and focus on the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad.

A trailer for the show was released over the weekend and can now be seen below. It starts off with a look at a community that is thriving in the zombie apocalypse, a place that has almost 10,000 residents. But when a group of teens get restless, they make the poor decision to venture outside of their community's walls… and thus the story of this show begins.

The pilot episode of this series was directed by KONG: SKULL ISLAND's Jordan Vogt-Roberts.

The cast includes Alexa Mansour, Nicolas Cantu, Hal Cumpston, Aliyah Royale, Annet Mahendru, Nico Tortorella, and Joe Holt.

Enthusiasm for the Walking Dead brand has really collapsed in the last couple years, but maybe this show will bring in new fans or revive the interest of longtime viewers. Check out the trailer and see what you think.
