One thing you can always count on with a new Spider-Man movie mixed with today’s technological wizardry is a lot of crazy-angled shots of the webhead swinging through the city. From Sam Raimi‘s first trilogy to Marc Webb‘s latest one, we have seen the comic book page come to life in ways never thought possible and the trend continues in THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2. Today, we have a look at two new motion posters that show off some of the dizzying new ways Peter Parker will be swinging around on the big screen and they’re actually pretty fun.

Take a swing!:

Sure, they’ve got the signature of CGI, but it’s still well done CGI. I mean, until we actually get an actual radioactive spider to bite someone and grant him the ability to swing around like that for real, then some “old-fashioned” computer graphics will have to tide us over. I like that the filmmakers are still challenging themselves to create something relatively new to see, though, even if it’s just some web-slingin’ action.

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Dane DeHaan, Chris Cooper, Paul Giamatti, and Sally Field swings into theaters on May 2, 2014.
