One of the best foreign horror films of the past few years has been Iranian writer-director Babak Anvari's UNDER THE SHADOW. Creepy, timely, and above all scary as all hell, that film is a must-see if you've somehow missed it.
It is with this in mind I'm excited about Anvari's new UNTITLED THRILLER from Annapurna Pictures starring Arnie Hammer (THE SOCIAL NETWORK). And if the combo of Hammer and Anvari wasn't solid enough, today we have word via THR that Dakota Johnson (SUSPIRIA 2018) and Zazie Beetz are joining the film as well.

Synopsis via THR:
A New Orleans bartender's life starts to unravel as a series of disturbing and inexplicable events happen after he picks up a phone left behind at his bar.
The untitled flick will be written and directed by Babak Anvari (UNDER THE SHADOW) and will star Armie Hammer, Dakota Johnson, and Zazie Beetz. Lucan Toh and Christopher Kopp produce with Megan Ellison. The film is set to hit March 29, 2019.
