Vin Diesel, Bloodshot

Well, I did not see this one coming! And from the looks of it, neither did Vin Diesel! Apparently, we are getting a new trailer tomorrow for Vin's upcoming flick, BLOODSHOT, and its Twitter page just made us aware of it by posting a sick, slow-mo video teaser of ol' Riddick taking a shotgun blast to the face! I'm f*cking serious! You have to see it to believe it:

That is some messed up shit! Genius marketing move! I'd never even heard of the Valiant comic-based BLOODSHOT until now, but my interest has certainly be piqued! Plus, the flick will be rated R (obviously from the face shot above) and tells the story of Marine Ray Garrison (Diesel), who is resurrected by a secret team of scientists after he and his wife are murdered. Enhanced with nanotechnology, he becomes a superhuman, biotech killing machine – Bloodshot. As Ray first trains with fellow super-soldiers, he cannot recall anything from his former life. But when his memories flood back and he remembers the man that killed both him and his wife, he breaks out of the facility hellbent on revenge, only to discover that there’s more to the conspiracy than he originally thought. In addition to Diesel, the film also stars Eiza Gonzalez (BABY DRIVER), Sam Heughan (Outlander), Talulah Riley (Westworld), Alex Hernandez (Hemlock Grove), Toby Kebbell (KONG: SKULL ISLAND), Lamorne Morris (New Girl), and Guy Pearce (MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS). BLOODSHOT splatters into theaters on February 21, 2020.
