Filming is about a month in on Fast X, the final installment of the Fast Franchise, and that’s after that little hiccup that saw original director Justin Lin leave six days into the production due to allegedly clashing with star Vin Diesel and Universal Pictures. Louis Leterrier has since stepped in to replace Lin and things appear to be back on track. Diesel has taken to his Instagram to post updates of the film’s production and one of them was a picture with himself and franchise newcomer, Brie Larson.
Diesel posted a picture that appears to have him dressed in character as Dominic Toretto with Larson, perhaps during a break as they set up a shot. She has her eyes closed playfully and peacefully as she rests against him. The caption on the photo reads, “There are some people you will meet in life…. That will change you, change your family… change the world, FOREVER!” You can check out the post below!
There is no word on who Larson will be playing but she is one of several new additions to the cast that also includes Jason Momoa, Alan Ritchson, and Daniela Melchior. That’s in addition to the core cast that includes Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Nathalie Emmanuel, Charlize Theron, Scott Eastwood, and Jordana Brewester. Speaking of Jordana, Diesel also posted a little video with his movie sister after it appears they have just been reunited on set. As previously reported, Jordana’s Mia Toretto wasn’t in the film’s original script and that was one of many things he wished to be changed. Judging from the video and caption, they’re very happy to see each other. The caption reads, “The sigh of siblings reuniting… my sister on and off screen for two and a half decades. So blessed, so grateful. For those who can receive it… we wish you love. Grateful for you all and hope to make you, him and the universe proud. A miracle.” You can check out the post below!
