This faux-conglomerate site (undoubtedly a knock at our future overlords, Wal-Mart), another of the now-omnipresent “viral marketing”, is a neat and surprisingly detailed tie-in for Pixar’s upcoming CG-animated film WALL-E. The site features “news” on floating cities and corporate punk, and perhaps most importantly, specs on available models of robotics. The movie focuses on a trashbot (Waste Allocation Load Lifter, Earth Class — WALL-E) who, after years spent cleaning the immense garbage amassed on a future Earth, begins to question his destiny when he falls in love.
