Even if you're not a big watcher of anime, the chances are that you've likely heard of Attack on Titan, the popular manga written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama which was later turned into an even more popular anime series. Attack on Titan is set in a world where humanity resides solely in cities surrounded by enormous walls, put up as a defense against the Titans, a race of gigantic humanoids who seem to desire nothing more than to devour humans. The series, which is full of mystery, action, drama, as well as a good amount of gruesome imagery, has become very successful across the globe so it's only natural that Hollywood would attempt to give the series a Western spin.

The second season of Attack on Titan, which has been a long time coming, will finally debut in April 2017.
