The first clip for Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS has “landed” online, showing the initial descent and final landing of the Prometheus ship.  The clip focuses predominantly on Idris Elba as Janek and Logan Marshall-Greene as Charlie Holloway, both directing the ship to its final landing spot on the “alien” planet.

Return your seatbacks to their upright position:

This isn’t anything spoilerish or epic, but rather a perfect tease for the film.  If sixty seconds of a spaceship landing can amp up my anticipation for a film then you know they’re doing something right.

“God does not build in straight lines.”  Foreshadowing?  We’ll find out when PROMETHEUS lands in theaters on June 8, 2012.
