The animated 2017 flick RESIDENT EVIL: VENDETTA proves the ironclad rule that THE FINAL CHAPTER will hardly be the last RESIDENT EVIL project that we'll be seeing (though it might be the last in that particular continuity). The first trailer has dropped for VENDETTA, which takes place more organically within the universe of the video game, and frankly it looks pretty incredible. Where the live action franchise has gone a more action-oriented route, VENDETTA is bringing back the horror with lush, creepy animation that is excitingly macabre. Check it out below!

VENDETTA was directed by Takanori Tsujimoto and stars Matthew Mercer. It will be released in Japan on May 27, 2017.
