Werewolves Within Blu-ray, DVD now available to own

Last Updated on December 8, 2021

Director Josh Ruben’s horror comedy Werewolves Within went over very well with us here at JoBlo and Arrow in the Head when it was given a theatrical, On Demand, and Digital release back in June / July. I gave the film a 7/10 review you can read at THIS LINK, The Iceman also gave it a 7/10 review (read that HERE), and Matt Rooney gave it an 8/10 review you can read HERE. So of course we’re recommending that you pick up a copy of Werewolves Within now that it’s available on DVD and Blu-ray – its physical media release date is today, and Amazon is accepting orders!

Sadly, there are no bonus features on this release.

Written by Mishna Wolff, Werewolves Within is based on an Ubisoft multiplayer VR video game (you can buy the game at THIS LINK) that was set in a medieval village. The film takes the basic concept and moves it into modern day, taking the werewolf mystery to the small, snowbound American town of Beaverfield. The film’s synopsis:

After a proposed gas pipeline creates divisions within the small town of Beaverfield, and a snowstorm traps its residents together inside the local inn, newly arrived forest ranger FINN and postal worker CECILY must try to keep the peace and uncover the truth behind a mysterious creature that has begun terrorizing the community.

The cast includes Sam Richardson, Milana Vayntrub, Michaela Watkins, Michael Chernus, George Basil, Sarah Burns, Catherine Curtin, Wayne Duvall, Harvey Guillén, Rebecca Henderson, Cheyenne Jackson, and Glenn Fleshler.

Richardson also produced the film with Ubisoft’s Jason Altman, Margaret Boykin, and Andrew Lieberman, and Vanishing Angle’s Matt Miller, Natalie Metzger, and Benjamin Wiessner.

Werewolves Within is the second feature for director Ruben. He made his feature directorial debut with last year’s horror comedy Scare Me, which is also worth a look. You can watch Scare Me HERE.

Are you going to grab a copy of the Werewolves Within Blu-ray?
