Does the first image of Colm Feore in The Amazing Spider-man 2 hint at another comic character?

Marc Webb has been letting the behind the scenes photos fly and each one has given us tons of questions. His pledge to tweet a new image every day has given us some interesting glances. While we haven’t seen any of the primary villains in action yet, we did get this mysterious look at Colm Feore.

The logo next to him is the same as the Ravencroft Institute image revealed yesterday. Ravencroft is the Marvel equivalent to DC’s Arkham Asylum and has been home to numerous villains such as Carnage and Venom, which may fit with some of the leaked news regarding Dane DeHaan possibly becoming the black suited bad guy.

But, who does that make Colm Feore? Could he be Dr Otto Octavius? Or could he be Dr. Leonard Samson? Could this be Adrian Toomes? Or, could he be a non-comic character entirely? There are so many possibilities, it is probably a safer bet to wait and see.

Plot: Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) with life busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 will continue to tease us with images until sometime later this year when we get a trailer. Aside from that, we will have to wait until May 2, 2014 to find out all of the answers.
