It looks like Gal Gadot will be moving up in film royalty rank from princess to queen with her next role as CLEOPATRA for Paramount Pictures! And her WONDER WOMAN director, Patty Jenkins, will be joining her! Paramount recently won the bidding war for the film and wasted no time announcing their high-powered star and director.
The film will be a period biographical drama and has been scripted by Laeta Kalogridis (SHUTTER ISLAND, ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL, ALEXANDER). I can see why there was such a high bidding war for this collaboration. These three ladies are extremely talented in each of their respective professions, which should definitely translate into a great success!
