Wes Craven’s Cursed… WTF Happened to this Horror Movie?! Video!

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Wes Craven was one of our greatest horror filmmakers, but he also had some misfires in his filmography and 2005's CURSED may be the biggest disappointment of them all.

A werewolf movie that brought Craven and SCREAM screenwriter Kevin Williamson back together while adding AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON FX artist Rick Baker, it should have been awesome. Instead, Dimension Films bungled the production so badly that it turned out to be a disaster of epic proportions.

For the latest entry in our WTF Happened to This Horror Movie video series, we dig into the behind-the-scenes drama and bad decisions that made CURSED live up to its title. Click the embed above and checj it out!

CURSED stars Christina Ricci, Jesse Eisenberg, Judy Greer, Shannon Elizabeth, Milo Ventimiglia, and Joshua Jackson, with Derek Mears as the werewolf. The synopsis:

A werewolf loose in Los Angeles changes the lives of three young adults who, after being mauled by the beast, learn that the only way to break the curse put upon them is to kill the one who started it all!
