X-Men’s Anna Paquin would like to play Rogue again, but on one condition

X-Men: Days of Future Past Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin (at this point) isn't expected to return as Rogue in X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, but the actress still wants to reprise her mutant role in a future X-Men movie. However, she does have one condition.

A fan on Twitter asked Paquin if she'd like to play Rogue again, and her response was "If I get to fly, absolutely." Paquin went on to further explain her comment, saying, "comic book Rogue gets to fly and I never did. I want to be badass Rogue not shy teen Rogue."

Compared to her comic book counterpart, Anna Paquin's Rogue is very underpowered, but the X-Men character still got a better big screen treatment than Cyclops. Poor bastard. With the franchise seemingly moving away from the original trilogy cast (besides major players like Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen), it's looking like Paquin's time playing Rogue has come to an end. But you never know what might happen, especially since the series has introduced time travel and alternate timelines. Do you want to see a flying Rogue in a future X-Men flick, and would you want Anna Paquin back as the character?

The "Rogue Cut" of X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will hit Blu-ray/DVD this summer, and X-MEN: APOCALYPSE is set to open on May 27, 2016.
