It was announced yesterday that Netflix would be bringing the cast of FATHER OF THE BRIDE and FATHER OF THE BRIDE PART II together for a special mini-sequel written and directed by Nancy Meyers to benefit World Central Kitchen. In the original film, Steve Martin starred as George Banks, a proud father who finds himself reluctant to let go of his oldest daughter when she announces that she's getting married. The sequel found Banks not only dealing with the pregnancy of his daughter, but also the unexpected pregnancy of his wife. FATHER OF THE BRIDE PART 3 (ISH) is now available to watch on Netflix's YouTube, so take get ready to settle in for a new slice of life with the Banks family.
FATHER OF THE BRIDE PART 3 (ISH) finds Steve Martin returning as George Banks, along with Diane Keaton as Nina Banks, Kieran Culkin as Matty Banks, Kimberly Williams-Paisley as Annie Banks-MacKenzie, George Newbern as Bryan MacKenzie, Martin Short as Franck Eggelhoffer, and a few special guests which I won't spoil here. As I mentioned above, the mini-sequel was created to raise awareness and support for World Central Kitchen, which has been working to provide meals for kids and families who have been impacted by COVID-19.
