Zemeckis talks Roger

JoBloJoBlo

Don’t worry, there’s still no motion capture for Roger or Jessica.

Robert Zemeckis sat down with MTV who squeezed a few details out about his latest project, the ROGER RABBIT sequel.

On Halloween, Mr. Davis brought the great news that the original screenwriters, Jeffrey Price and Peter Seaman would be returning to pen the sequel.

We thought everything was safe, and to a certain extent it is, but Zemeckis will be using the motion capture technology on other characters in the toon universe. I know that some people aren’t really a fan of the mo-cap technology but at least they aren’t using it on the rabbit and his sexy redheaded wife. Zemeckis knows that there would be a mutiny if he messed with the original 2D duo.

Can you deal with the other toons being done in motion capture? It might seem like an odd blend but we’ll just have to wait to find out.
