Zombie Halloween 2

JoBloJoBlo

As was rumored just a couple of weeks ago, Rob Zombie is returning for another adventure of white-trash psychopath Michael Myers. He’ll write and direct H2, a sequel to his remake of John Carpenter’s classic slasher HALLOWEEN.

Although he first shunned the possibilty of a HALLOWEEN sequel (initially thought to be a direct-to-DVD project), Zombie apparently couldn’t stay away. Perhaps he didn’t already sufficiently explain the low-class background and motivations of the masked killer, and feels compelled to “fill in the blanks.”

The new HALLOWEEN flick, which starts shooting in March (script be damned!), will begin “right as the first remake ended, following the aftermath of Michael Myers’ murderous rampage through the eyes of the sister he hunted.” Zombie’s violent wrestler/biker tale TYRANNOSAURUS REX seems to be in a holding pattern, despite the concept art that had been steadily cranked out for the project.
