So how’re you guys feeling about this zombie romance WARM BODIES that’s coming our way? Regardless of the fact that it’s starring the absolutely stunning Teresa Palmer and that the filmmakers are promising to keep things as un-TWILIGHT as they can, it’s hard to get behind a zombie romance flick that’s rated PG-13, right?

Well now you can comfortably look forward to this one because according to The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog WARM BODIES just got awesome with the addition of the great John Malkovich! Oh hell yeah! Anytime I see Malkovich signing on for a flick that movie immediately gets my attention, I’m sure I’m not the only one either.

WARM BODIES follows an existentially tormented zombie named R that begins an unlikely friendship with the human girlfriend of one of his victims. The blossoming relationship begins to flower the zombie’s dormant humanity.

According to THR Malkovich would be playing the villain in the film. And I wouldn’t have it any other way! Mind you it seems the actor is in final negotiations to join the film, so it’s not a done deal yet, but it might as well be.

Malkovich (above) will join Palmer (below), Nicholas Hoult and Rob Corddry in the film, which is based on the novel by Isaac Marion. It’s coming our way from producers Bruna Papanadrea (Yeah, that’s Marcey’s sister yo!) of Make Movies and Mandevill’s David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman. Laurie Webb and Cori Shepherd Stern are executive producing.

And that’s about all we’ve got on the Jonathan Levine film right now. As soon as we hear more on WARM BODIES we’ll pass along the good word to all of you so make sure to check back soon for that.
