Yesterday we got the horrible news that Martin Scorsese’s SHUTTER ISLAND was being pushed back 4 months! Well if that bummed you out as much as it bummed me out then hopefully this news will turn that frown upside down!
According to Box Office Mojo while SHUTTER ISLAND is moving back another highly anticipated film is moving up! Ruben Fleischer’s ZOMBIELAND was originally geared up for an October 9th release but the zombie adventure will now be hitting theaters on October 2nd! Alright… it’s not much of a move but at least it’s something!
ZOMBIELAND stars Woody Harelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Amber Heard (below), Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin and Bill Murray as a Zombie! It’s about two men who have found a way to survive a world overrun by zombies. Columbus is a big wuss — but when you’re afraid of being eaten by zombies, fear can keep you alive. Tallahassee is an AK-toting, zombie-slaying’ bad ass whose single determination is to get the last Twinkie on earth. As they join forces with Wichita and Little Rock, who have also found unique ways to survive the zombie mayhem, they will have to determine which is worse: relying on each other or succumbing to the zombies. Get ready to visit ZOMBIELAND on October 2nd!
