Strike Back below!
by: Mike Sampson Nov. 7, 2008

I was a little disappointed when the trailer for Pixar's next movie, UP, didn't premiere with WALL-E. But I was pretty positive it would be attached to either Disney's BOLT or DreamWorks' MADAGASCAR 2. It looks as though that's the case as the trailer has made it's way online today. And while the original premise didn't do much to intrigue me, in the usual Pixar way, I'm swept off my feet. I won't say more but you can expect the same Pixar magic next summer when UP hits theaters.

Source: TA

Extra Tidbit: Ed Asner, Christopher Plummer and John Ratzneberger voice the cast for UP.

Looks awsome, as usually Pixar makes things look, and again, very beautiful and original, I wonder if they'll be any cameos of previous or future Pixar characters? still, I'm very excited for Up.

Looks Beautiful
This, along with what I saw at Comic Con has me hating to wait so long to see it. I'm not going to spoil it for anyone, but the whole story is not spent flying in the house. This, like every PIXAR movie to date looks to be a winner. Even though they have some beautiful visuals and animation, they always start with one thing: a great story.

Z_Oasis...we got your point. Thanks.

As for the movie...definitely very Pixar-y. Which is amazing, as always.

This looks like real fun and I imagine a touching story/lesson will be learned in the process of this journey. Can't wait!

The balloons look amazing.
This was originally supposed to come out on my birthday, but oh well. My birthday will just come early next year. And in 3D.

I'm super stoked about Pixar's upcoming line up. Newt sounds awesome, and Toy Story 3. I'm a very excited little boy right now.

The trailer made me laugh out loud. But I'm mad at Pixar. I tried to get a job there was basically qualified for nothing higher than the mail room!

Looks great visually, but doesn't reveal much in terms of plot. But Pixar always has the benefit of the doubt.

For rasagathi...
My main problem lies with WallE. It was boring as hell! Sure its cute in places but just a bunch of animation tricks with some Awwe cute stuff thrown in for sentiment. I guess it could be ok, but not nearly what people are making of it. And plus, it was a shitty demo that they wanted to do first but instead (THANK GOD) they did toy story. Pixar never let's me down. I love their movies, but... I don't know how they can make a feature length movie based off of this premise. Then again they've surprised me before. So I'll definitely be checking this one out.

Disney pays the bills, but Pixar does its work in-house and that's why they still put out amazing films. And hey, Z_oasis, instead of just lambasting films most of us think are brilliant, why not try giving some cogent reasons why you didn't like them? I thought 'Wall-E' was almost perfect, but i'm willing to listen if you think about what you say. Otherwise, please just shut up.

And yeah, needless to say, I have high hopes for 'Up' (no pun intended).

Pixar? I'm SO in.
Anytime I can't decide what movie to watch in our collection, I just grab anything from Pixar & I'm happy.
