I'm just not knowing what to make of this film. It looks really fucking freaky and disturbing, but I'm just not sure I can trust M. Night anymore. He gained me with SIXTH, totally fucking blew my mind with UNBREAKABLE, but then lost me with SIGNS. And THE VILLAGE and LADY IN THE WATER didn't help his case any.

I think that M. Night is really talented, but like Stephen King, he has a really big problem concluding his stories in a satisfying way. All his movies has at least one major plot hole that damages the quality of the movie which is a shame because I love every single plot that he has written. This trailer is very good and there is no doubt that I will go see it. Unfortunately, I am pretty sure that the ending will be lackluster. I hope not, though. |
