AMC, Bloody-D & The Collective back a new horror anthology called V/H/S

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

As the pact between Bloody-D, AMC and The Collective sees its first film open in limited theaters this weekend (THE WOMAN), it seems they’ve already got some pretty interesting plans for the future.

Buried at the bottom of a L.A. Times article, it seems the partnership between the aforementioned players is extending toward a new anthological horror film called V/H/S.

Comprised of short films by various upcoming horror filmmakers, (not unlike ABC’S OF DEATH), V/H/S will feature the likes of Ti West (HOUSE OF THE DEVIL, THE ROOST), Adam Wingard (A HORRIBLE WAY TO DIE) and David Bruckner (THE SIGNAL), among potential others. No further details were dished, save for a budgetary allocation of about $1 million.

Sounds pretty sweet to me. I’m always up for a horror anthology, good or bad. As interesting, I’m pretty sure Wingard and West are onboard with ABC’S OF DEATH as well, so how V/H/S measure up to that anthology, we shall see…

In the meantime, what’s your favorite horror anthology? Have you watched it yet this month?
