Canadian director Bruce McDonald next tackling paranoia flick Dark Highway

Here’s a project I’m immediately interested in: DARK HIGHWAY. Do you guys know what this one is about? Of course you don’t! That’s what I’m here for.

Variety are dropping word today on a flick coming at us from Canadian helmer Bruce McDonald, a little something called DARK HIGHWAY. So what’s this one about? Check it:

Story follows a man being chased who is trying to get to a certain place in one day. He doesn’t know whether the situation is real or his imagination.

I don’t know about you guys but I really don’t need to know much more, I’m already sold! I’m a sucker for mindf*ck flicks like this one… the only problem is they rarely deliver. Will DARK HIGHWAY be any different? Let’s hope so!

Coming at us from Palomar Pictures and Foundation Features, DARK HIGHWAY has a budget of $25 million and was penned by Christopher Kyle. It’ll shoot it Canada early next year and is currently in the midst of the casting process.
