Celebrate Mothers Day with these deleted scenes, featurette and e-cards from Mama

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Hitting DVD and Blu-Ray tomorrow is the Guillermo del Toro-produced, Andy Muschietti-helmed hit MAMA, which scared up some big bank at the box office earlier this year and has already sparked talks of a franchise. The film is hitting discs at an appropriate time as Mother's Day is this weekend, and as a special treat to celebrate Universal has tossed us a couple of deleted scenes, a bonus featurette and a couple of e-cards, which you can peep below.

Starring Jessica Chastain and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, MAMA reached number one at the box office when it opened in January.  The film has grossed an estimated $89 million worldwide on an estimated $15 million budget.

Guillermo del Toro presents Mama, a supernatural thriller that tells the haunting tale of two little girls who disappeared into the woods the day that their parents were killed. When they are rescued years later and begin a new life, they find that someone or something still wants to come tuck them in at night.

Five years ago, sisters Victoria and Lilly vanished from their suburban neighborhood without a trace. Since then, their Uncle Lucas (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and his girlfriend, Annabel (Jessica Chastain), have been madly searching for them. But when, incredibly, the kids are found alive in a decrepit cabin, the couple wonders if the girls are the only guests they have welcomed into their home.

Show Mama how much you love her by sending her one of these creepy e-cards for Mother's Day.
