Dutch zombies wreak bloody havoc in horror-comedy Zombibi

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Thanks to our pals at Twitch, we’ve just made our acquaintance with a Dutch zom-com called ZOMBIBI. As you’ll see in the three-minute trailer below, it’s tone is far more comedic than horrific, at least in the early going. By the end of the stint however, more blood is let than a goddamn donation house. Cop a peek underneath!

Directed by Martijn Smits and Erwin van den Eshof – The bizarre story takes place in Amsterdam-West, where a virus turns people into bloodthirsty zombies. Although much blood is flowing and many limbs chopped off, there is a lot to laugh at in this bizarre horror comedy.

ZOMBIBI – made for €500,000 – is slated to hit Dutch theaters on February 16th. As the profile on the film rises, we’re sure to get you more global release dates, especially here in North America.
