Sega and Gearbox have released a new gameplay trailer (below) for its upcoming sci-fi/horror shooter ALIENS: COLONIAL MARINES. Hit play and you’ll find tough guys, guns, blood and a lot of those chest-bursting, face-eating monsters we all love and care for.
If you’re looking for the next cool military game experience make the line to buy this sucker right now, this will be your cup of blood! The shooter is a straight sequel to James Cameron’s ALIENS and it has a lot of surprises for the fans of the classic sci/fi flick.
The plot goes like this: “Described as a true sequel to James Cameron’s film, the story of ALIENS: COLONIAL MARINES takes place after the events of the second film, ALIENS. The story is told through the eyes of Corporal Christopher Winter, a Colonial Marine who is part of a search and rescue team sent to investigate the U.S.S. Sulaco in search of Ellen Ripley, Corporal Dwayne Hicks, and the rest of the missing marines who were dispatched to LV-426.”
Much of the main plot was written by Bradley Thompson and David Weddle (BATTLESTAR GALLACTICA). ALIENS: COLONIAL MARINES is set to debut on the PS3, XBOX 360, PC and WII U on February 12th.
