John Carpenter’s The Ward set to hit DVD & Blu-Ray this August!

Well folks the goods from John Carpenter’s THE WARD have been flying at us fast and furious, for good reason though – this thing is finally almost here! The Arrow dug that shite for the most part, and I’m sure most of us will too!

So what do I have for you today? How about a DVD and Blu-Ray release date! Would that be something you might be interested in? Of course it is! Now we already know THE WARD is going to hit Video on Demand come June 8th, and that it’s going to follow that up with a theatrical release on July 8th. So when will we be seeing this shite on DVD shelves? Nope not August 8th but August 16th! Works for me! So this Summer you have your chance to catch THE WARD on Video on Demand, in theaters and on DVD/Blu-Ray. All within three months! Pretty interesting, right?

Kristen, a beautiful but troubled young woman, who finds herself bruised, cut, drugged, and held against her will in a remote ward of a Psychiatric Hospital. She is completely disoriented, with no idea why she was brought to this place and no memory of her life before being admitted. All she knows is that she isn’t safe.

One-by-one the other girls begin to disappear and Kristen must find a way out of this hellish place before she, too, becomes a victim. As she struggles to escape, she will uncover a truth far more dangerous and horrifying than anyone could have imagined.

Unfortunately no special features have been announced for this long-awaited DVD but we do know the flick stars Amber Heard, Danielle Panabaker, Mika Boorem, Jared Harris, Mamie Gummer, Laura-Leigh, Sydney Sweeney, Sean Cooke, Milos Milicevic and Jillian Kramer. Pick your poison folks – Video on Demand: June 8th, Theaters: July 8th and DVD/Blu-Ray: August 16th!
