Hollywood.com has gotten hold of a new clip from Rod Lurie’s STRAW DOGS retell, which we’ve gone ahead slapped up for you to see. In it you’ll find Kate Bosworth and James Marsden – both tattered and harried – begin to argue with each other over what to do about their assailants. Should they run or stay holed up?
Based on the Sam Peckinpah classic:
David and Amy Sumner, a Hollywood screenwriter and his actress wife, return to her small hometown in the deep South to prepare the family home for sale after her father’s death. Once there, tensions build in their marriage and old conflicts re-emerge with the locals, including Amy’s ex-boyfriend Charlie, leading to a violent confrontation.
Aside from the two leads, Dominic Purcell, Walton Goggins, Rhys Corio, Anson Mount, Willa Holland and James Woods add to the proceedings.
STRAW DOGS comes out September 16th.
