New Legend Pics

The boys over at Dread Central scored a couple of new behind-the-scene set pics from the upcoming Will Smith adaptation of I AM LEGEND. While they don’t necessarily show anything too hardcore or revealing, they do show Smith kickin’ it with the Coast Guard crew that was helping out on set.

While I had really wanted this flick to be the hardcore horror adventure the book wanted it to be, the more I see of it, the more glossed over and clean-cut it’s looking to be- basically, you’re usual Will Smith movie. Meh.

No word on when I AM LEGEND is expected to hit theaters, but at the rate it’s going, I’d either say Christmas, or next summer- as something of this magnitude screams EVENT MOVIE, and too big for a Fall or Spring release.
