Raven Banner takes Canadian rights to John Dies at the End

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Last week we hit you with the news that JOHN DIES AT THE END was hitting DVD and Blu-Ray in America via Magnolia Home Entertainment on April 2nd, and today we have word that the kickass Don Coscarelli flick’s Canadian rights has just been acquired by genre distributor Raven Banner.

The Hollywood Reporter states that Raven Banner’s managing partners Michael Paszt and James Fler negotiated the deal with Magnolia Pictures director of international sales and distribution Natsu Furuichi, while Magnolia’s Magnet Releasing retains worldwide rights to the genre-bending flick.

JOHN DIES AT THE END is based on the book by David Wong and stars Chase Williamson, Rob Mayes, Clancy Brown and Paul Giamatti. In case you somehow missed it, the film is about:

A new street drug that sends its users across time and dimensions has one drawback: some people return as no longer human. Can two college dropouts save humankind from this silent, otherworldly invasion?

If you do the Amazon thing (and you should!) then you can pre-order JOHN DIES AT THE END on DVD HERE or on Blu-Ray HERE.

This was also the face I was making after watching JOHN DIES AT THE END.
