Scope out the concept art for the Hellraiser remake that wont be happening

Looks like the news is out, the planned HELLRAISER remake from Todd Farmer and Patrick Lussier wont be happening.

So what is the story? Looks like the ideas and directions they wanted to go in didn’t suit Dimension. Both parties didn’t really agree, and for now the project is on hold, as B-D found out recently.

Also STYD got some concept art from the project, and these designs will now be buried and not to be used. I’ll give them this, looks a heck of a lot better than the cheap HELLRAISER: REVELATIONS. If Dimension still go ahead with this project, I hope the designs wont stray too much from this look.

Here is what Todd Farmer told B-D about what happened: “I don’t think so. We developed several versions for Dimension, but in the end we never saw eye to eye creatively. We wish them the best and look forward to seeing what they come up with. …It’s not a sequel, Clive’s already told his story. Basically we wanted to reboot, take his world and tell a new story inside his world. The current story is extremely different from the story we pitched. It’s changed dramatically since we started, and it will probably change a lot more before it’s all over.”
