Sneak peek at Titan Books’ The Art of Dead Space

Tomorrow, Visceral Games is releasing DEAD SPACE 3 for XBOX 360, PS3 and PC.

Meanwhile, Titan Books‘ THE ART OF DEAD SPACE (GET IT HERE) will also see the light of day tomorrow. This is a 300+ page book that includes original, never-before-seen concept art images and sketches for the game, supplemented by detailed commentary, covering the entire DEAD SPACE series. If you’re a fan of the game you can have fun with a set of pictures from THE ART OF DEAD SPACE (below).

With DEAD SPACE 3, the series has seemingly shifted towards the action-horror and the plot sings like this:

“After escaping the Sprawl, Isaac Clarke and Ellie Langford encounter Sergeant John Carver, a survivor of a Necromorph incident on the planet Uxor; and discover Tau Volantis, a frozen planet where the ruins of a 200-year-old colony are found. Learning that someone was able to stop a Necromorph outbreak there, the group tries to land on the frigid planet; however, the ship breaks apart upon entry, and Ellie is separated from the others. As a result, Isaac resolves to save her along with his original goal of stopping the Markers once and for all”
